As an Open-Source advocate, and a long term contributor to OpenStreetMap, I record imagery data whenever I can, so that it can be used to improve map coverage of the World. I love the idea of imagery being used to improve navigation, and the potential this has for optimised routing, and the reduction of traffic. In the past, I have contributed using another Android application, but prefer KartaView, because I feel it is being used for good. Data ownership clarity is important, and KartaView take this seriously.
